Dr. Fazıl Küçük Sports Complex
Our "Sports Complex" is 4,800 m2 and is designed as a two story building. It consists of six different halls including :
- Sport Equipment Sales Area
- Changing Tooms & Shower Areas
- Management and Instructor Rooms
- VIP Room
- Press Room
- Health and Administration Offices
- Rooms for Various Activities
The complex is designed to give services in the following areas

Outdoor Sports Activity Halls

- Tennis Court
- Basketball Field
The capacity of the Sports Complex enables 110 students to use the in-door sports complex area and 60 students to use the same time to do sports in the field they choose.
1. Athletics (male-female)
European University of Lefke Athletic teams (male-female) enter the competitions organized by the Cyprus Turkish Ameteur Athletic Federation, competitions between Universities in North Cyprus and in Turkey. Last year the female athletics team won all the competitions organised by the Federation and Universities in North Cyprus. In addition, this team entered the Universities Championship in Turkey - Izmir - and most of the female athletes finished in the first ten. The male athletics team has won all the competitions in North Cyprus organized by universities and Athletics Federation in the last three years. Last year, this team was one of the successful athletics teams in the universities organization in Turkey. Individually, in 400m and discus throwing, athletes gained medals. Moreover, all the male athletes finished in the first ten.
2. Table Tennis (male)
Over the last five years, the table tennis team of the European University of Lefke won all the tournaments in North Cyprus organised by the North Cyprus Table Tennis Federation and Universities organization. Last year this team was also champion of organisation of universities in Turkey. This team also takes part in the superleague in Turkey.
3. Volleyball (male-female)
Female and male volleyball teams take part in the competitions organized by the Cyprus Turkish Volleyball Federation and by universities in North Cyprus and in Turkey. Last year the female volleyball team were top of the league oranised by the federation and played in the final of the President's Cup. This team also gained more success in the groups of the first league organised by the universities federation of Turkey.
4. Basketball (male)
The basketball team (male) enters competitions organized by universities in North Cyprus.
5. Football (male)
The football team (male) of the European University of Lefke enters university organized competitions in the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus and in Turkey. Last year this team played in the final in North Cyprus . In Turkey, the football team entered the University second league competitions and after all the matches came fourth.
6. Wrestling (male)
The wrestling team takes part in University competitions in North Cyprus and championships organised by the Cyprus Turkish Wrestling Federation. Last year, the wrestling team was third in the Universities competition in North Cyprus and this team was also second in the federation competition.
7. Chess (male)
The chess team of the European University of Lefke enters competitions organised by the Universities and federation. Last year,the team won all the matches organised by the federation and were champions in this league.
8. Snooker (male)
The snooker team competes in the competitions organized by the snooker union and universities and won all these competitions.
9. Darts (male)
This team taks part in Darts Union and Universities competitions
10. Cricket
Establish in 2001. Every year the team participate the organization which is held by TRNC Universties Sport Federation. In 2004-2005 team played well but unfurtunatly stand as second.
In 2005-2006 Academic Year team won all matches and became champion between Universities in North Cyprus.
