The EUL Writing Centre offers you a place to get professional feedback without formal evaluation. The primary purpose of the Writing Centre is to guide students to become better writers and the emphasis is on teaching students rather than proofreading or "fixing" papers.

Instructors in the EUL Writing Centre will help you achieve the following outcomes:

  • Identify and analyze your reader and articulate a clear purpose for writing.
  • Brainstorming, outlining, pre-writing
  • Improve the content of your papers.
  • Organize your writing more effectively.
  • Persuade your reader that you know what you're talking about.
  • Use standard grammar and punctuation.
  • Document sources used for a paper or project (APA, MLA…)
