What is the aim of the course? The aim of the course is to improve your overall ability in English grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing. Particular features of the course are:

What is the size of the classes? The maximum class size is 14 though groups are often smaller which allows for a more personal focus. How will I be placed in a class? There is a placement test and interview on the first day of the course to establish which group will be best for you. Students studying at the faculty will be placed in a separate group. What is the timetable? You will have classes for 21 hours a week at the following times: 10.00-11.30, 12.00-1.30 and 2.30-4.00 What about accommodation? We can arrange university accommodation in single study bedrooms on University of London, Queen Mary campus. All rooms have a washbasin. Toilets, bathrooms and self-catering kitchens are shared between 5–6 students. There are laundry facilities, supermarkets and a range of restaurants nearby. The campus also has a health centre, bookshop and sports facilities. Will I get a certificate at the end of the course? Yes, students joining the Summer School will receive a certificate at the end of the course. How do I apply? You need to get an application form from the English Preparatory School. We will send your application forms and arrange the accommodation for you. You need to complete the application form and return it to Ms. Fatos Eren. When is the last date to apply? The application process will carry on until the end of April.
