International Students’ Attestation of Degree In order to attest their transcripts and degree by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkey, and their respective Embassies or Consulates in Turkey, students need to verify their academic credentials by the following Institutions in North Cyprus prior to their leave.
Students are required to complete the EUL Termination Form by visiting certain Departments within the University for Final Approval. Upon completion of the form, students should submit it to the Registrar’s Office and obtain their degree, transcripts and previous academic credentials accordingly.
The Diploma and related Academic credentials (e.g. Transcripts, Graduation Certificate) should be attested by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports Affairs, TRNC, following their receipt from the Registrar’s Office. Students should note that for each attested document they need to provide a stamp worth of 7 TL. The stamp can be purchased from any Post Office in TRNC. Contact Number: 0392-2283136
Students need to obtain their entry and exit records from Güzelyurt Police Station or any other Police Station wherein an Office of Immigration is available. Students should provide their International Passports at the time of application as well as a stamp worth of 7 TL. The entry & exit record should be attested by the TRNC Ministry of Internal Affairs, Office of Immigration, subsequent to the attestation by the Police Department. Students should take the original attested entry & exit record (attested from both the Police Station and the Ministry of Internal Affairs) and a copy of it to the Turkish Embassy in Lefkosa for final attestation. Students should take the attested academic credentials and entry & exit records to the Turkish Embassy in Lefkosa as a final verification in North Cyprus. For each attested document students are charged a fee of 21 TL. Contact Number: 0392-600-3100
