Student Council
Besides organizing educational and research activities, The Student Council was established in order to provide students with a democratic and liberal environment, enable them to contribute the contemporary development of the university, let them speak out about their necessities to the related units, give them a chance of being represented at the university senate by voting and organizing social, cultural and sportive activities. Acting according to the ‘EUL Student Council Regulation’, it represents the students within the university and at the national and international level. Every EUL student is a member of the council. The elections are held on the dates determined by the university administration this year.
How are the elections held?
1. First, one representative from each class at each faculty is elected. The representative of the Prep School is elected similarly.
2. Second, class representatives elect the department representative.
3. Then, department representatives elect their own faculty representative.
4. The faculty representatives constitute the Student Council for one year of service.
