A Delegation from Marshall University visited EUL...
The Delegation from American Marshall University which came to TRNC in order to seek for cooperation held a meeting to make an evaluation and strengthen the cooperation in EUL Rectorate Senate Hall at 11:00 on 12 April 2008. Salih Usar, Minister of Public Work and Transport of TRNC; Prof.Dr. Ali Rıza Büyükuslu, EUL Rector; Eren Adataş, Chairman of EUL Board of Trustees; Beyazıt Dağlı, Member of EUL Board of Trustees; EUL academic and administrative personnel; Clarke Egnol, Foreign Relations Director of Marshall University; Dr. Lorraine Anderson, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, Lewis College of Business attended the meeting in the Senate Hall.
Within the Cooperation Protocol between EUL and Marshall University, the issues such as academician and student exchange, mutual scientific researches, double diploma programs (2 years in TRNC and 2 years in the States) and training opportunities in the States for the EUL students were discussed in order to determine what kind of options and opportunities can be provided.
Within this cooperation, it is decided that in order to develop the mutual economic, social, scientific and cultural endeavors between West Virginia and Lefke, the representatives from the several ministries will get together with American senators and politicians and initiate different projects in the interest of Güzelyurt and Lefke regions.
Representatives from Marshall University expressed the pleasure of being in TRNC and the cooperation with EUL which is a university completely integrated with the world in terms of its academic quality and vision.
