Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Büyükuslu and Kemal Derviş Got Together in UN...
During the visit made by Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Büyükuslu, the EUL Rector and Kemal Derviş, the UNDP Presiden, UNDP regional projects and the developments considered to be thanks to the universities in TRNC were discussed. Information related to the EUL projects and regional development strategies within Lefke region was given and a general evaluation was carried out. Regarding to the use of university potential in the application of economic and social development programmes for the improvement of studies related to technology, infrastructure and human resources on the island, opinions were exchanged with regard to the accomplishments of EUL, which is very successful in global integration, creating bilateral partnerships and administrating the higher education, related to UN development policies, strategic plans, declarations and principles that can be further developed via the other projects of UNDP and UN and the possibility of establishing partnerships in various fields.
