One More International Accomplishment By EUL :Got Involved in American Council on Education (ACE)...
Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza BÜYÜKUSLU, the EUL Rector attended the 90th Annual Meeting of the American Council of University Rectors as the guest of ACE. Successful cooperation of EUL with American Universities were quoted as examples in the meeting in which the subjects such as globalization in higher education, international cooperation, joint scientific activities, future of the universities, change management, university management, leadership, accreditation, quality assurance systems were evaluated. There were approximately 700 universities from all over the world, mostly from the USA, attending the meeting. Decisions on a wide range of subjects related to the international activities of the universities and future academic studies are given at ACE Meetings which is widely accepted as one of the most important higher education organizations in the world. The conclusive declaration of the meeting is crucial for the universities. ACE which is accepted as the umbrella organization of America directs UNESCO in the first place and many other organizations related to higher education. Within this respect, EUL’s being a part of this organization gains importance in the process of strengthening its international relations and integration to the world.
