IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NEW STUDENTS FROM NIGERIAPlease note that the North Cyprus Government decision concerning all newly enrolled students from Nigeria, that imposed the obtainment of a Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) visa before they travel to North Cyprus, has been changed. Accordingly, all newly enrolled students from Nigeria are required to obtain only a Turkish Transit Visa from the related Turkish Embassies or Consulates in order to travel to North Cyprus.
1. You are now required to transfer the tuition fee for one Academic Year as stated on your conditional acceptance letters. Please find below the exact amount of tuition fee that need to be sent to the EUL Bank Account according to the programme you enrolled in.
All Undergraduate Degree Programmes

Masters Degree Programmes – Social
Total Amount of Tuition Fee to be paid:
2,936 US$ (including Term Project Fee)
Masters Degree Programmes – Technical

3,451 US$ (including Term Project Fee)

2. Once you have transferred your tuition fees, you shall send us (via email at emi@lefke.edu.tr or fax: +90 392 72 77 528) a copy of your bank transaction so that we issue a Formal Acceptance Letter for you.
3. Once you receive your Formal Acceptance Letter, you may go and apply to the nearest Turkish Embassy for a Turkish Transit Visa. Each country has its own procedure. Please find below the visa requirements according to the rules of the Turkish Embassy in Nigeria. Please remember that you must always show the Embassy or Consulate your Acceptance Letter.
Transit Visa Application Requirements List
1. At least 6 months valid passport, with enough space for visa sticker (to be seen and returned to the applicant until the approval of application).
2. Copies of the relevant pages of the passport (data and extension pages).
3. Duly filled visa application form.
4. One (1) passport-size photograph.
5. Admission and Acceptance Letter by the University.
6. Payment receipt of school fees.
7. Confirmation letter from the school acknowledging receipt of payment.
8. Proof of basic education, copies of graduation diploma and certificates (W.A.S.C., S.S.C.E. etc.) duly signed and approved by the Federal Ministry of Education.
9. Proof of BA education, copy of university graduation diploma duly signed and approved by the Federal Ministry of Education.(For master students)
10. Guarantee letter signed by the sponsor and the student, stating that the sponsor will cover all the expenses of the student, and the student will never apply to any person or institution (including university) for financial support or scholarship, certified by a notary public.
11. A copy of “Certificate of Company Incorporation” of the sponsor.
12. A copy of certificate of income tax clearance of the sponsor.
13. Original “personal” bank statement for the last three months of the sponsor together with original approval/reference letter from the bank branch manager.
NOTE: Since one month-valid transit visa is issued to the students who will study in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), they are advised to apply for visa a month before their travel to the TRNC.
4. Please note that if you would like to stay at the EUL Dormitories you are required to fill out the Dormitory application form (please click on the link given below) and send it to the fax or email address stated on the application form.

5. Once you have received your visa you are then ready to make your travelling arrangements. Let us know of your flight arrangements and the date of your arrival so we can pick you up at the airport. Please remember that wherever you are coming from you will have a stop over in Turkey. Ercan Airport of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be your final arrival.
